Lee Ann is one of the most caring, unselfish people I have ever met. One of the first times I really met Lee Ann was when our granddaughter passed away. Lee Ann and a couple of other people Ken was in massage therapy school with, came down to the funeral home and just surrounded Ken and comforted him. The day of the funeral, Lee Ann came back down and spent the day with us and even worked on Ken after everything had calmed down. I didn't understand why people do things like that then, but in getting to know her, I understand that is just who she is.
Lee Ann's friendship means so much to me. She is another early riser, so we spend a lot of our telephone time early in the mornings, before most people are out of bed. We have had some great conversations and I am thankful that she is in my life. I hope I can be 1/10th the encouragement to her that she is to me. . .
I met Lee Ann when I sat down beside her and her friend on my first day at massage therapy school. The second day at school, I arrived and she was sitting on the front row. Shortly after I had gotten seated, she turned and asked if I wanted to sit with and her friend on the front row. Perhaps, to her dismay, I did. I learned some time later that Lee Ann was concerned that I might be feeling rejected and maybe I thought they had moved because they didn't want to sit by this guy, when they just wanted to be closer to the front.
I have been getting to know Lee Ann since 1991. I believe her to be one of my dearest friends. I have had the opportunity to study, work, and travel with her over the years and value her friendship... just because she is who she is. I believe also, that she has the ability or gift to just excepts me as I am.
In addition to what I believe to be a valuable personal relationship, we have a most valuable business relationship as well, and I am thankful that she in my life.
It has been my observation that Lee Ann is a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. Anyone doing business or building a relationship with her will find someone who is consistent in ethics, attitude, willingness to do it different if need be. As well as a desire to help others as well as herself.
I have watched her extend herself so far out of her comfort zone to support people and organizations she believed in. She has taken on responsibilities she didn't know how she was ever going to succeed but she did and continues to grow as a person, a leader, a healer. . .
